Ternopil is the city where I was born.
It is situated in the west part of the country and it is the county seat of the region.
Ternopil is not a very big city but it has a very beautiful old town centre with boutiques, restaurants (many are Italian) and cafes.
The main boulevard take you to main square of the city which is full of historical buildings, statues dedicated to Ukrainian artists, churches and a lot more.
In Ternopil there is also a old castle, built by a Polish noble near the lake of the city.
I suggest you to visit this very beautiful city if you want to discover a real Ukrainian mentality and "taste" the truly Ukrainian culture.
